National Law University was based by an Act of Govt.of Uttar Pradesh in 2005, (U.P.Act No.28 of 2005) and came into being on 4th of January 2006 to meet up the new disputes in legal fields and to strengthen the vision that was given by the organization first National Law School of the country. This was done to give a comprehensive examination national character to the Institute on lines with the other premier National Law Universities of the Country.
Eligibility:
The eligibility for the Entrance Examination is a 10+2 Higher Secondary School certificate with 50% marks(SC/ST 45%) from a recognsed board of education and is maximum 20 years of age(SC/ST 22years). The exact date will be released through the official admission notification
Admission
Admission to the BA LLB (Hons.) course is based on an All India Entrance Test conducted each year.
Course Structure
This university offers its students a course of five years, and then upon graduation provides the degrees, B.A, LL.B (Hons.), and B.Sc., LL.B (Hons.) degrees. LLM course has been started in 2007
