National Institute of Technology, Kurukshetra is a public technical university entirely financed by Government of India. This college of technology was established in 1962 and became a deemed university in the year 2002. It is 1 of the 20 National Institutes of Technology based and administered by Government of India. It runs undergraduate and postgraduate programs in Engineering and Doctor of Philosophy programme in Engineering, Sciences and Humanities. The institute objects to train its students on the values of life besides training them to achieve excellence in the field of academics experiment activities, intensive study and modern methods of instructing are a part of the grooming process in this institute.
