National Institute for the Mentally Handicapped based in the year 1984 at Manovikasnagar, Secunderabad (AP).NIMH has three territorial centers located at New Delhi, Kolkata, & Mumbai. NIMH Model Special Education Center located at New Delhi. The centre also runs a 4-year BRT (Bachelor of Rehabilitation Therapy) degree course associated to Guru Gobind Inderaprastha University.
