Introduction
National institute of Mental Health and Neuro Science (NIMHANS) was launched in 1974, with the arriving together of the previous Mental hospital and All India institute of mental health. It is a multidisciplinary institute distributing with mental health and neuroscience. In 1994, it was consulted the status of a Deemed University by the UGC. It is regarded to be the front most institute in the area of mental health and neurological sciences.
