National AIDS Control Organization is a division of the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare that allows for leadership to HIV/AIDS control programme in India. In 1986, following the detection of the first AIDS case in the country, the National AIDS Committee was appointed in the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare.

i want to know about the measures to be taken by an obstetrician for prevention of infection from pregnant mother to her child, as prescribed by NACO guidelines.
