NABARD Subsidy
NABARD is establish as an vertex Development Bank with a authorization for helping credit flow for advancement and growth of farming, small-scale industries, cottage and village industries, handicrafts and other rural trades. Regional Offices of NABARD situated in all the States have been assigned powers to sanction and dismissal allowable subsidy to the eligible part by the PLIs. Capital subsidy to the tune of Rs.1284.976 lakh was approved by NABARD upto 30 September 2009 by 35 PLIs in regard of 200 eligible units financed by them. Credit linked capital subsidy @ 25% of the capital cost of the project financed by bank loan would be eligible. This subsidy would be 33.33% in respect of candidates of SC, ST, Women and other disadvantaged parts and those from North-Eastern and Hill States.
