Motilal Nehru National Institute of technology is a regional Engineering College, at Allahabad. It is an institute with total dedication to quality and excellence in academic recreations is amongst one of the leading institutes in INDIA and was founded in year 1961 as a joint project of Govt. of India and Govt. of U.P. with the scheme of institution of REC. MNNIT Allahabad takes nearly five hundred students to undergraduate programs and another one hundred fifty students to postgraduate programs every year.
It offers 4 year B.Tech programs in Electronics & Communication Engineering, Civil Engineering, Bio-Technology, Production & Industrial Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Information Technology and Computer Science & Engineering. However with effect from June 26th of 2002 the college became deemed university and is now known as Motilal Nehru National Institute of technology.
