Introduction
Muzaffarpur Institute of Technology, also known as MIT Muzaffarpur, is a prime engineering institution in Bihar. The institute is located on north-west corner of the Muzaffarpur city along Muzaffarpur – Motihari road. The institute is affiliated to the Babasaheb Bhimrao Ambedkar Bihar University, Muzaffarpur, which is the degree allocating authority for the institute as bachelor and master of engineering. Muzaffarpur Institute of Technology was founded in 1954. It has been authorized by the All India Council for Technical Education, AICTE, and New Delhi. Presently, MIT Muzaffarpur affords degrees in a wide variety of disciplines arranging from Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, Electronics, Information Technology, and Leather Technology to Pharmacy.
