MGPGI PGDEE 2011 Mahatma Gandhi Postgraduate Institute of Dental Sciences Post Graduate Dental Entrance Exam
MGPGI PGDEE – 2011 (Post Graduate Dental Entrance Exam) is an entrance exam for admission to the PG course in Dental Science i.e. Master of Dental Surgery in Mahatma Gandhi Postgraduate Institute of Dental Sciences. PGDEE 2011will be taken at the MGPGI center in Puducherry and is the only test centre for this examination. Only candidates having Puducherry residence or NRI/Foreign Candidates may appear for PGDEE. Mahatma Gandhi Postgraduate Institute of Dental Sciences was founded in 1990 as Puducherry Dental College and Hospital. Initially it did not offer Post Graduation in Dental surgery but in 2005 it began its MDS course and got renamed as Mahatma Gandhi Postgraduate Institute of Dental Sciences. It is regarded to be among the top dental colleges in India with a very good infrastructure and faculty along with the best of facilities.

Eligibility criteria:
Applicants must have done BDS from an institute accredited by Dental Council of India. The candidates who will pass their internship before March, 2011 may also apply. Only candidates having Puducherry domicile or NRI/NRI Sponsored/Foreign candidates can apply.
Availability of Application forms for MGPGI PGDEE:
The application forms for PGDEE will be available in the Office of the Director, MGPGI and also from SBI Branch in the Institute and also the main SBI branch in Puducherry. The application form may also be got by post from MGPGI by sending a Demand Draft along with the request letter for application form. Candidates may also download the application form by the website.
Selection process:
Candidates will be shortlisted on the base of their PGDEE – 2011marks. The shortlisted candidates will be called for further selection procedure dwelling of a Personal Interview & Group Discussion after which the final selections are made.
