The Maulana Azad National Urdu University (MANUU) is a Central University founded under by the act of 1998. The University has its centered in Hyderabad, Andhra Pradesh. The university has been committed with the obligation to encourage and originate the Urdu language and render higher, technical and vocational education in Urdu medium. The university feeds special stress on women’s education. The University is fully furnished by the University Grants Commission and works under the auspices of the Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India. It came into by Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU), New Delhi.
