Manipur University Admission
Manipur University is settled at Canchipur, Imphal, the capital city of Manipur, an Indian State bordering Myanmar. The Langthabal Palace (Konung) was based by Maharaja Gambhir Singh in 1827(October) A.D. just after the liberation of Manipur from Burmese occupation. Maharaja Gambhir Singh took his last breath in Canchipur. Canchipur is also the birthplace of Dr. Lamabam Kamal, a famous poet of Manipur.

Admission Procedure
Eligibility:
A candidate with Honors will have to secure at least 45% marks in Bachelors degree for admission in the postgraduate courses.
A candidate without Honors will have to secure at least 50% marks in Bachelors degree for admission in the post graduate courses.
A candidate will have to secure at least 55% marks in the post graduation level for pursuing the M. Phil course.
