Maharashtra State Eligibility Test (SET) is an examination for eligibility of position in Universities and Institutes of Maharashtra. University Grants committee (UGC) has authorized the State Government/State Agencies on behalf of the State Governments to conduct the State Eligibility Test (SET) for lecture. SET is carried on by University of Pune which is the state office appointive by Government of Maharashtra.
