Life Insurance Corporation of India (LIC) recruited eligible Indian Citizens for appointment for 5578 posts of Apprentice Development Officers (ADO) in the jurisdiction of following 8 Zonal and various Divisional Offices, in 2011 the department may open the vacancies for the same posts, the related details are given below:-

5. Southern Zonal Office, Chennai :

8. North Zonal Office, Delhi :
Age Limits: 21 to 28 years on the 1st week of April of the year of examination. Upper age limit is relax-able for Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, confirmed L.I.C. employees, etc.
Qualification: Bachelor’s Degree of a University under a statute or a foreign university sanctioned for the purpose or the Fellowship of Insurance Institute of India, Mumbai. Preference may be handed to those appliers who have Masters Degree in Business Administration in Marketing or Post Graduate Diploma in Marketing from a University in India founded under Statute or by an Institute sanctioned by AICTE or a recognized Institution.
Age: 21-30 years as on First week of March 2011 Relaxation in age will be per rules.
Selection Procedure:
Selection will be made on the basis of a written test followed by an Interview.
Paper pattern
Written test will be of objective type, multiple choice of two hours duration comprising of the following two papers:
1. Test of Reasoning and Numerical Ability.
2. General Knowledge, Current Affairs and English Language test with special stress on grammar and vocabulary.
Application Fee: Fees Payment Challan only at any LIC Office. The receipt should be kept with you and should be produced at the time of written test.
