Introduction
Kakatiya University is located in the historical town, Warangal, past seat of the Kakatiya swayer and an significant town in north Telengana Region. The University originally founded as a post-graduate college in 1967 with 4 departments has grown real throughout these 26 years uncover its legal power to cover the four economically backward districts of north Telengana region of Andhra Pradesh, namely Adilabad, Karimnagar, Khammam and Warangal.
The University is bidding about 120 programs at Undergraduate and Postgraduate level in the modules of Arts, Science, Commerce and Business Management, Social Sciences, Education, Engineering and Pharmaceutical Sciences with 180 essential and related colleges spread over four districts of Andhra Pradesh, India. The University Post Graduate Centers at all the district headquarters and at Kothagudem, Nirmal and Godavarikhani have become full-feathered colleges and are expeditiously fulfilling the academic needs of socio-efficient backward region of rural Telengana under the legal power of the University.
