The Karnataka Public Service Commission (KPSC), founded in 1951 under the supervision of the Constitution, recruits candidates to the several civil services throughout the Karnataka state. The selection will be made on the basis of performance of the candidates occurred in the written examination (preliminary and main) and personality test. For other services in the state, the commission only takes written competitive examination or takes a personality test of the candidate.
