KLE University Belgaum
Introduction
Headquartered at Belgaum in state of Karnataka, KLE University conducts wide range of courses mainly in medical subjects. KLE Society is currently running 160 educational institutions spread over various parts of the country. Administered by the Karnataka Lingayat Education Company or KLE Society, it was announced as a deemed to be University under department 3 of the University Grants Commission (UGC) Act, 1956.
Educational
KLE University offers undergraduate, postgraduate, posted, fellowship and certificate programmes in the field of Health care. KLE University has also brought in some need based fellowship programmes in several specialties and PhD programme in health facilities and inter-disciplinary research. The University has witnessed constant growth by exploring new areas in education viz. the institution of the Institute of Public Health, Institute of Clinical explore and School of Music. The existent curriculum of the University has been restyled by integrating information and communicating technology (ICT) to meet the changing global demands. The University has collaborated with renowned systems viz. ICMR, WHO and several Universities in USA and also in SE Asia.

Entrance into this University is based on PG Medical/Dental All India Entrance Test (PGAIET 2009).
