Kalasalingam University was started out in 1984 as ‘Arulmigu Kalasalingam College of Engineering’ (AKCE). In 2006, it got credit from University Grants Commission (UGC), after which, it was nominated as ‘Kalasalingam University’. Kalasalingam University will take an entrance exam in 20111 for enrolling students to undergraduate courses in the area of engineering, namely, Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech). The course is a three-year full time program.

Eligibility
The applicant must have passed in 10+2 examination with 60% marks in aggregate in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics, from any recognized Board.
Age:- The aspirants should not be more than 21 years old.

The application forms for Kalasalingam University can be got from the University and also from the selected Indian Bank branches and Post Offices. The application form can also be got by post from Kalasaligam University by sending a DD along with the request letter for application form. Candidates may also download the form by the website.
Examination Pattern
The paper of University Entrance Exam dwells of objective type of questions, each carrying four options for the correct answer. These questions are based on Physics, Chemistry and Biology.

Questions in University Entrance Exam are asked from Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics syllabus of 10+2 level.
