JNU 2011 Entrance Exam Jawaharlal Nehru University Part Time
The JNU entrance examinations 2011 will commence from mid week of May to third week of May, 2011 for admission into various part time undergraduate, postgraduate and doctorate degree level courses. University will hold Entrance Examination (in Delhi Centre only) for admission to Certificate of Proficiency and Advanced Diploma in Mass Media in Urdu one-year Part-Time Programmes of Study in the School of Language, Literature & Culture Studies. Since these are Part-Time programmes, these are intended for candidates residing in Delhi NCR only. Admission to Diploma of Proficiency and Advanced Diploma of Proficiency will be made on basis of the past academic record of the candidate which will be assessed in accordance with the criteria laid down by the University for Selection.

Eligibility:
For Advanced Diploma in Mass Media in Urdu: candidate have Bachelor’s Degree under 10 + 2 + 3 pattern of education with at least 45% marks in aggregate with Urdu as one of the subjects at High School or Intermediate or B.A. Level.
For Advanced Diploma of Proficiency: candidate should have Senior School Certificate, (10+2) or equivalent with at least 45% marks in aggregate and Diploma of Proficiency in language concerned.
For Diploma of Proficiency: candidate should have Senior School Certificate (10+2) or equivalent with at least 45% marks in aggregate and Certificate of Proficiency in the language concerned.
For Certificate of Proficiency: candidate should have Senior School Certificate (10+2) or equivalent with at least 45% marks in aggregate.

How to apply
Sets of Application Form and Prospectus can be obtained through post by sending crossed Bank Draft (valid for six months) for prescribed fees drawn in favour of Jawaharlal Nehru University payable at New Delhi along with a self-addressed (unstamped) envelope of the minimum size of 30 cms X 25 cms
