JNTU PACET 2011 Planning and Architecture Common Entrance Test
Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University (JNTU) will take Planning and Architecture Common Entrance Test (PACET) in 2011. On the basis of PACET merit, candidates will be given admission 5 year B.Arch., 4 years B. Planning and 6year B.Arch. (PTDC) and other related courses. 6-Year Part Time Degree Course (PTDC) is for Diploma holders in Architecture with 2 years of experience as architectural assistant. It is conducted every year for candidates throughout the India.
Eligibility for JNTU PACET 2011:
Domicile Requirements: Candidates should belong to the state of Andhra Pradesh and should satisfy local / non-local status requirements as laid down in the Andhra Pradesh Educational Institutions (Regulation of Admission) order, 1974 as subsequently amended.
Age: Candidates should have completed 16years of age by the date of commencement of admission as announced by the committee or on such other date as may be notified by the PACET committee and there is no upper age limit.
Educational Qualifications:
1.Candidates should have passed 10 + 2 examination conducted by Board of Intermediate Education, and should have secured not less than 50% marks in the aggregate with Mathematics and English as subjects of examination for admission in B. Planning degree course.
2. Candidates should have passed three years diploma (10+3) in Engineering/Architecture conducted by the State Board of Technical Education and Training, Andhra Pradesh with 50% marks in the aggregate with Mathematics and English as subjects of examination for admission into 5- year B.Arch. degree course and 4 – year B. Planning degree course.
3. Candidates appearing for 10+2 final examination or equivalent or final year Diploma examination are also eligible to apply.
Application forms
Application forms may be got by cash payment at JNTU, Hyderabad, Dept. of Architecture, Andhra University, Vishakapatnam, JNTU College of Engineering, Anantapur and Govt. Polytechnic, Vijayawada. Applications may also be got by post by sending a request letter along with a DD in favor of Secretary, APSCHE.
How to apply
After filling the application form, applicant can submit application along with all essential enclosures and Fee through DD to admission office of institute before the last date of Receipt application form.
Selection Process
The Selection of the Candidate is based on Personal interview and written admission test. The Selection of the candidate is also based on the rules and regulation of the Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University
