Planning and Architecture Common Entrance Test (PACET) is an examination manage or control by Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University (JNTU) for admission to 4, 5 and 6 years courses in planning and architecture. Eligibility criteria:
The candidate should have Indian nationality.
The minimum age of the candidate is 16 years.
The candidate should also belong to Andhra Pradesh.
The candidate should have passed the class 12th examination from Andhra Pradesh or any other equivalent examination with a minimum of 50% marks.
The candidate must also have studied mathematics and English as main subject’s up to class 12th level.

How to apply:
The Interested candidate may apply online and sent some along with passport size photograph stuck on the right corner of the application form and attested copies all essential certificates and a DD in favour of the JNTU PACET
Exam Pattern of the JNTU PACET 2011
The examination will be divided into 2 parts
Test 1: drawing – duration 2 hours
Test 2: Aesthetic Sensitivity Test – duration 2 hours
Syllabus for JNTU PACET 2011
Students seeking admission to 5 year B. Arch degree / 6 year B. Arch (PTDC) shall take Part – A of the Test and candidates seeking admission to 4 year B. Plan degree shall take Part-B of the Test.
Test-I – Aesthetic Sensitivity – 100 Marks Duration of Test – 2 Hours
Test-II Drawing- 100 Marks Duration of Test – 2 Hours
Admission Processes
Selection of the candidate is based on performance of Entrance Test.
