JELET Exam
West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination (WBJEE) is carried on by West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination Board (WBJEEB) for admission to various professional person courses in various areas of Engineering /Architecture/ Technology / Medical / Dental and pharmaceutics in various Universities/Colleges in West Bengal. A small count of examinees from across the state of West Bengal appears for WBJEE every year for admission in these courses.
Eligibility
Candidate should have passed 10+2 or equivalent examination with an aggregate of at least 50 %(40% for SC/ST) in Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics(for BE/B.Tech/B.Arch/Pharmacy)/Biology(for Medical/Dental/Pharmacy) and a pass in English & 5th subject. Those who are appearing for class 12th exams in 2010 can also apply.
Application Forms:
Application forms will be available directly from designated branches of United Bank of India and also by post from West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination Board (WBJEEB) by sending a request for form along with a demand draft

Date of Entrance Examination: April 3rd week, 2010
Availability of Application Forms from UBI branches: November Last week-December End, 2009
Availability of Application Forms by Post: Upto December 3rd week, 2009
Last Date for receipt of completed application forms: Mid- January, 2010
