Introduction
Jawaharlal Nehru Krishi Vishwavidyalaya has been active in the field of Education, Research and Extension actions for enhancing productivity, profitability and sustainability of agricultural product systems and quality of rural livelihood in the state Madhya Pradesh. Jawaharlal Nehru Krishi Vishwavidyalaya serves as a centre of teaching and research in the airfield of agriculture and related Science. The University also disseminates technology to farmers, denotation personnel and systems engaged in agricultural development through various denotation programmes.
Educational Streams
The university offers Bachelors, Masters and Doctorate degree programmes in Agriculture, Veterinary Sciences & Animal Husbandry and Agricultural Engineering. Admission in Post-Graduate studies is given on merit. Admissions to the Bachelor degree programs are made through Pre Agriculture Test for Faculty of Agriculture and Agricultural Engineering and through Pre Medical Test for Faculty of Veterinary Sciences & Animal Husbandry organized by MP Board of Professional Examination, Bhopal.
