Introduction
Jawaharlal Nehru Agricultural University is settled in Jabalpur, Madhya Pradesh. The University allows for higher education in agriculture and allied science. The University also conducts MBA and doctorate programmes. Jawaharlal Nehru Krishi Vishwavidyalaya conducts Education, Research and Extension actions for enhancing productivity, profitability and property of agricultural production systems and quality of rural livelihood in the state of Madhya Pradesh. The University is also devoted to promote research in this field. The University also conducts MBA and doctorate programmes. A centre of teaching and research in the field of agriculture and allied science, it is a state university recognized by University Grants Commission (UGC).The University offers undergraduate and post graduate courses in Agriculture, Forestry, Horticulture, Animal Husbandary, and Biotechnology through the faculty of agriculture, veternary science and agricultural engineering. The university offers Bachelors, Masters and Doctorate degree programmes in Agriculture, Veterinary Sciences & Animal Husbandry and Agricultural Engineering. Admission in Post-Graduate studies is given on merit basis. The university has in its legal power seven colleges of agriculture, two veterinary sciences and a animal husbandry college, and one agricultural engineering college; nine zonal research stations; 16 regional explore stations and 15 agricultural science centres.
