Institute of Rural Management Anand (IRMA) was based in 1979 at Anand, Gujarat with the support of the Swiss Agency for growth Cooperation (SDC), the authorities of India, the authorities of Gujarat, at one time Indian Dairy Corporation and the National Dairy growth Board to allow for management education, training, explore and practice support to co-operatives and rural growth organisations in India.
