Indira Gandhi National Tribal University Amarkantak
Introduction
Indira Gandhi National Tribal University in Amarkantak in Madhya Pradesh was founded by Central Government. The University has the power to establish such number of its own regional centers in tribal areas as the University may deem fit.
Teaching and affiliating University for facilitating and promoting avenues of higher education and research facilities for the tribal population of the country. Adequate representation will be given to the tribe amongst the authorities of the University like Court, Executive Council, Academic Council, College Development Council, Boards of Studies, Academic Boards, Management Boards and Finance Committee etc.
