Introduction
Indian Space Research Organisation has founded two major space systems. It was founded in its modern form in 1969 as a result of coordinated efforts initiated earlier.
INSAT for connection, television broadcasting and meteorological services, and Indian Remote Sensing Satellites system for resources monitoring and management.

Consequently, Indian Space Research Organisation has successfully operationalised two major satellite systems namely Indian National Satellites for communicating services and Indian Remote Sensing satellites for management of natural resources; also, Polar Satellite Launch Vehicle for launching IRS type of satellites and Geostationary Satellite Launch Vehicle for launching INSAT type of followers.
