Introduction
Indian School of Mines Dhanbad was founded by the viceroy of India, Lord Irwin in 9 December, on the model of Royal School of Mines. The School was bestowed upon the university status by the Act in. Indian School of Mines University Dhanbad is prepared over a campus of hectares and offers several courses at the UG as well as PG level in the engineering field. A need was felt to found an authorities college of Mining Engineering at some entitled place in India on the pattern of the Royal School of Mines.

Admission procedures for B. Tech and MBA courses at ISM University

B.Tech
ISM admits students to its B. Tech programmes on All-India basis since 1997, through the IIT-JEE exam.

Eligibility: The minimum academic qualification for admission through JEE is a pass grade in 10+2 or its equivalent.

MBA

Eligibility: A Bachelor’s degree (10+2+3) in any discipline, B. Tech., B. Pharm or equivalent with minimum 55% marks in aggregate. For Honors graduates the average will include marks of both Honors and Pass Papers.
