Indian Navy Recruitment 2011 Education Branch, Law and Logistics Cadre
Applications are invited from unmarried male and female nationals for a Short Service Commission as Commissioned Officers in the following in 2009 may be recruited similar posts in 2011.

Eligibility Criteria:
For Education Branch:
Examinee must have a master’s degree from the accredited University with at least 55% aggregate.
Master’s degree must be done either in Physics or in Mathematics.
Women examinees having chemistry with physics are also qualified for this course.
Examinee must be between 21 to 25 years of age.
For Law Cadre:
Examinee must have a LLB degree to be qualified for this course.
LLB degree must be obtained from any of the esteemed University with at least 55% aggregate.
Examinee must be 22 to 27 years of age.
For Logistics Cadre:
Examinee must have any of these degrees can apply for this course:
BE/B.Tech in Civil or in Architecture from the esteemed University.
BCA: Degree/Diploma in Material Management or Finance Management.
Chartered Accountancy
Examinee must lie in between 19 to 25 years of age.
Physical Requirements for Indian Navy (Education Branch, Law and Logistics Cadre) Exam:
Height:
For Males: Examinee must have min of 157 cm of height.
For Females: Examinee must have min of 152 cm of height.
Weight:
Examinee must have a proportionate weight in accordance with height.
Female candidates must have min of 38.6 kg and must be in proportion with height.
Eye Sight: 6/60, 6/60 for I and 6/24, 6/36 for II & III correctable to 6/6 (in each eye with glasses).
Selection Procedure:
Short listed examinees have to appear in SSB Interview will be contained at Bangalore or Bhopal.
Selected examinees have to appear in medical test directed through the SSC.
Examinees recommended through SSB are entered in course as Sub-Lieutenants and undergo Naval Orientation Course at Naval Academy (NAVAC), Goa.
Examinees after completion of course have to go by professional training at several Naval Training Establishments/ Units/Ships.
