Introduction
Indian Navy and serves to impart ab-initio training to recruits by a difficult and comprehensive training regime as can be anticipated in a Boot camp. On an average, 3000 raw recruits are transformed into ‘Sea Warriors’ each year. The length of the course run at INS Chilka is nine weeks for Artificer Apprentices/ DEDH, fifteen weeks for NMERs(MR- Matric Recruits/NMR – Non Matric Recruits) and twenty four weeks for Senior Secondary Recruits Entryand the frequency of the course is twice a year.
How to Apply:
Application Forms, in accordance with the appointed format, and complete in all respects should be sent through Ordinary Post only with the type of entry, choice of center and percentage of marks in 10+2 is to be clearly written on top of the envelope containing the application.
Last Date
Last date of receiving the application is 16/01/2010.
For far-flung areas the last date is 23/01/2010.
Pay:
During the initial training period they will be paid Rs.5700/-PM, on completion of initial training they will be posted in the regular pay scale of Rs.5200-20200 plus Grade Pay Rs.2000/- plus MSP Rs.2000/- plus allowances as admissible.
