Naval Academy Exam is manage or control for recruiting candidates for the posts in Indian Army, Indian Navy and Indian Air force. Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) announces to conduct Naval Academy Exam in order to select candidates for the Army, Navy and Air Force Wings of the NDA, for academic session 2011
Educational Qualifications:
For Army wing of National Defence Academy :- 12th Class pass of the 10+2 pattern of School Education or equivalent examination conducted by a State Education Board or a University.
For Air Force and Naval Wings of National Defence Academy and for the 10+2 (Executive Branch) Course at the Naval Academy :- 12th Class pass of the 10+2 pattern of School Education or equivalent with Physics and Mathematics conducted by a State Education Board or a University.
Age-limits 16-1/2 – 19 Years
Selection procedure
Candidates are selected based on a written test and an interview.
Application procedure
Interested candidates are instructed to apply in the Common Application Form devised by the Commission available at Head Post Offices/Post Offices throughout the country, and all applications must reach the Secretary, Union Public Service Commission address
How to apply
The duly filled in application form and the acknowledgement card should then be mailed in the special envelope supplied with the Information Brochure. The candidate should also write the name of examination viz. “National Defence Academy and Naval Academy Examination-(I), 2010” on the envelope before despatching it to “Secretary, Union Public Service Commission, address. Candidates should mention their Tele/Fax Nos.
