Indian Coast Guard Assistant Commandant 2011 Recruitment Exam Technical
The Indian Coast Guard, an armed force of the Union, offers a challenging and inspiring career as Group ‘A’ Gazetted Officer. Applications are invited from Indian citizens for the following posts. The examination is commonly managed or control twice in a year viz. in month of January and July. Selection is based in two phases: Preliminary Selection (PSB) and Final Selection (FSB).

Post name: Assistant Commandant (Technical)

Eligibility: candidate should have Degree in naval architecture/marine /mechanical/ electrical/tele-communication & electronics/ design/ production/ aeronautical / control engineering and Equivalent qualification in any of the above disciplines recognized by All India Institute of Engineers

Medical Standard
Height in cms: 157 cms minimum

Weight: Proportionate to the Height and Age, + 10 % acceptable.

Chest: Well proportionate, minimum expansion 5 cms

Eye Sight
6/12 (Good Eye) and 6/36 (Bad Eye).

Selection process
Selection will be made only on the basis of performance of the candidate in FSB.
