Introduction
Indian Agricultural Research Institute is the area premier national Institute for agricultural research, education and expansion. In fact, the Green gyration was born in the fields of Indian Agricultural Research Institute and our graduates appoint the core of the quality human imagination in India’s agricultural research and education.
Throughout the fifties, the advancement of scientific fields constituted she core programme and allowed for the base for its fast elaboration in the 1960’s and 1970’s in all its three interactive areas, namely, research, education and extension. Indian Agricultural Research Institute became a ‘Deemed to-be University’, up to 1957, students numbering 903 were granted Associateship of which was foreign as equal to the M.Sc. degree of Indian schools.

Mushroom cultivation during October in the Division of Plant Pathology.
