IIT Kharagpur Masters in Medical Science and Technology MMST 2011 Admission Test is of objective type to Recognize as the aptitude of the candidates for a program. School of Medical Science and Technology (SMST), Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur invites applications for a 3 years post graduate program – Masters in Medical Science and Technology (MMST) for MBBS graduates.

Eligibility for MMST 2011:
The eligibility criterion for admission to MMST 2011 students is MBBS Degree (recognized by Medical Council of India) with a minimum of 55% Marks in aggregate and having studied mathematics at +2 level (even as additional subject) or from any recognized Open University.
Application Procedure
MMST 2011 application is to be submitted only by an ONLINE process (internet based) by accessing the it’s official website
How to Apply:
The candidate should first pay the Application Fee by obtaining a Demand Draft drawn in favour of IIT Kharagpur on any nationalized bank payable at Kharagpur, West Bengal.
Selection procedure
The selection of is strictly based on the performance of the candidates in an objective type of written test of 2 hours duration.

Dates for Online Application: February 1st week-March 1st week, 2011
Last date for the receipt of completely filled Application Forms: March 3rd week, 2011
Date of Entrance Exam: April 4th week, 2011
Announcement of Results: May 4th week, 2011
Pattern of Examination:
Selection to the MMST programme is solely on the basis of a written examination. The exam will be of 2 hours duration consisting of 120 objective type questions. There will be no negative marking. The distribution of the questions will be as follows:
MBBS Syllabus: 75 questions
Maths (+2 level): 15 questions
Physics(+2 level): 15 questions
Chemistry(+2 level): 15 questions

IIT Kharagpur MMST 2011 Admit Card is issued only to eligible candidates who submit the application form completed in all respects before the closing date.
