Indian Institute of Technology Kharagpur s an independent engineering and technology-oriented institute of higher education based by the authorities of India in 1951. Central Library serves the academician needs of about 5000 UG and PG students and explores scholars, nearly 500 faculty members and about 1500 technical, administrative and medical staff of our institute. Besides its services are extended to a number of other organizations also. The Library imaginations stand at about 3, 00,000 volumes including books, back- volumes of periodicals, micro forms, video forms, theses, patents and standards.

I am a senior lecturer at the Cape Peninsular University of Technology. I am currently doing research in water purification and am looking for a PhD Thesis by G P Karmakar. The title of the thesis is “Flocculation and rheological properties of grafted polysaccharides” – dated 1994. Do you stock past PhD thesis in your library and if so how do I get a copy of this thesis?
