IIIT PGEE 2011 International Institute of Information Technology – Post Graduate Entrance Exam
An all-India examination to test the preparedness of the applicants will be held on April, 2011. The examination will be held at Hyderabad and a number of major cities (Bangalore, Calcutta, Delhi, and Mumbai) in the country are contingent upon on the number of applicants from each region. Admission to PG programmes will be on the basis of the performance at the Post-Graduate and PhD Entrance Examination (PGEE 2011) and an interview to be held at Hyderabad. International Institute of Information Technology is a Deemed University, Education and Research, Private institute and it was set up in 1998 year. The institute is a centre of the cognitive process of acquiring skill or knowledge for both under graduate and post graduate courses.

Post B.Sc. Dual Degree
M.Tech in Computer Science, Computer Science & Information Security, VLSI and Embedded Systems, Bio-informatics, Computer Aided Structural Engineering, Computational Linguistics
MS/Ph.D in Electronics & Communication Engineering, Computational Natural Sciences, Power Systems, Building Science and all the above M.Tech courses.
IIIT PGEE 2011 courses and Eligibility
The candidate appearing for M.Tech/MS programs must have BE/ B.Tech/B.Arch./ MCA or master degree in Science/ Math’s/ Programming/ Computer Science or the relevant branch in which the candidates want to take admission.
The candidate appearing for Post B.Sc. Dual Degree course must have B.Tech or B.Sc degree.
For admission to Computational Linguistics the candidate must have done BE/BTech in (CS/ ECE EE/Civil/ Inst. /Biotech.) or B.Arch. or Master’s degree in Science/ Math’s/IT/ICT/Computer Science or MCA.
Application Procedure:
All applications should be submitted online in PGEE portal to submit the application; a candidate has to complete two registration forms: Pre-Registration Form and Main Registration Form.
How to apply for IIIT PGEE 2011:
Candidates are supposed to apply online for IIIT PGEE at the website www.iiit.net. After that candidates will be sent a mail containing a link where candidates have to fill the details. The payment of the application fees can be done through credit card/demand draft.
Paper pattern
The entrance examination will consist of two papers. Paper I test the general aptitude of the candidate and will consist of objective questions from Mathematics, Programming, and Logical Reasoning. Paper II is the Subject Paper, which tests the candidate’s subject knowledge.
