Mr Muazzam Ali launched the Institute of Islamic Banking and Insurance in London in 1990 to replace the ICIS. The Institute, as a not-for-profit party with sympathetic aims, continues to be a contributing origination and proceeds to create substantial attempts to the professional education and training of people in Islamic banking and Islamic Insurance with a center on the human proportion of the economy universal.The Institute contributes together people of all faiths, and those with no faith, to make the awareness of an substitute financial organization that is true to the feeling which should mark every financial service. The Institute will achieve its directs by the following strategic aims to develop, organize and encourage for the public benefit, programmes of education, training and research in Islamic finance, banking and Islamic insurance and related financial systems.
