IGNOU OPENMAT 2011

IGNOU (Indira Gandhi National Open University) conducts OPENMAT 2011 for admission into its several PG Management Programmes. IGNOU conducts OPENMAT twice a year in February & August months.

Courses Offered by OPENMAT:
Master of Business Administration (MBA)
Diploma in Management (DIM)
Post Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDIM)
Post Graduate Diploma in Financial Management (PGDFM)
Post Graduate Diploma in Operations Management (PGDOM)
Post Graduate Diploma in Marketing Management (PGDMM)
Post Graduate Diploma in Human Resource Management (PGDHRM)

Eligibility for IGNOU OPENMAT 2011:
Graduation in any subject with 50% marks for General Category and 45% marks for reserved category;
OR
Graduate’s degree with three years of supervisory/managerial/professional experience.
Examinees who have successfully cleared the entrance test for admission into Management Programme conducted through institutions like CAT, MAT and State level tests require not appear in OPENMAT.

For DIM non-bachelor with 6 years of managerial/supervisory/professional experience are also qualified.

Key Dates (Tentative):
1st week of October, 2010 is the Date of Availability of Application Forms
Mid of December, 2010 is the Last Date for receipt of completed application forms
1st week of February, 2011 is the Date of Entrance Examination

Please note that the dates are only tentative and are not final.

Application Forms will be available from IGNOU, New Delhi and from whole Regional Centres, Study Centres, and IGNOUARMY, NAVY, AIR FORCE AND ASSAM RIFLES Recognised Regional Centres. It will also be available on IGNOU’s official website (www.ignou.ac.in).

    Dear Sir,

    I’m an Indian residing in Bahrain and i have obtained my MCA(2009 – Regular) Nagarjuna University.
    * Am i eligible to do my MBA through IGNOU .
    * I want to start as early as possible so can u please help me and say whether it is possible for me to apply for OPENMAT 2011 and give my exam in Bahrain and continue my studies in Bahrain itself.
    * I also need information regarding whom i can contact in Bahrain.
    * Can u also suggest books or website for OPENMAT preparations.

    So, will i have to consider Hyderabad as my Regional Center or not??

    As I wont be able to attend the openmat to be conducted on feb-6 2011, I like to know when will be the next exam conducted and the last date of submission of the form,also the syllabus for openmat.
