Indira Gandhi Krishi Vishwavidyalaya was launched on January 20, 1987 below the IGKV Act 1987 of M.P. State and IGKV statues 1987. Education, Research and Extension are the major actions integrated by agriculture, veterinary, dairy and agricultural engineering faculties and Directorate of Instruction, Research and Extension. Grant in aid is experienced from ICAR and State Government to meet out the mandatory of the University.
