IAPT Exam 2011 Indian Association of Physics Teachers
IAPT (Indian Association of Physics Teachers) is an association of physics teachers disseminated all over out the nation. It was commenced by late Dr. D. P. Khandelwal in 1984 and today it has 5000 life members. All the work of this administration is voluntary in character-thus nobody is paid any honorarium or remuneration for any work of IAPT.
IAPT has been carrying national standard examination in physics (NSEP), a countrywide examination for last 22 years by now. NSEP is at the CBSE XII standard level. NSEA (junior level) is at the CBSE standard x level while NSEA (senior level) is at the CBSE standard xii level. These examinations will be the first and the only screening tests towards international Olympiads in the respective subjects. IAPT will conduct an entrance exam in 2011 for NSEP, NSEC and NSEB related details are given below:-
Eligibility Criteria for NSEP, NSEC and NSEB:
Science students studying In STD XI or XII and born after 31.12.1990.
Note: those who have passed HSC (i.e. std XII or equivalent) are not eligible
NSEA Is Organized At Two Levels:
1) Senior Level NSEA: Students of class XII or lower
2) Junior Level NSEA: Students of class X or lower
Scholarships:
A number of scholarships (subject to a maximum of 10) have been planted to promote students to take-up physics as a career. Those who look for admission in B.Sc. (with physics) after NSEP are eligible for these scholarships.

Entrance Exam Date: – Last week of November 2011
Form Submission Date: – Mid of October 2011
Result Date: – first week of March 2011
