Indian Air Force Aeronautical Engineering Officers Exam is managed or control for the students who aspire to make their career in Indian Air Force. The Aeronautical engineering is divided in two branches like Mechanical and Electrical. Mechanical branch is Worthy of or requiring responsibility or trust for aircraft and its weapon system and on the other hand, electrical branch is concerned electronic networks of communications from ground to air and vice versa. Eligibility Criteria:
The aspiring candidate must be an Indian National.
For Aeronautical Engineering (Electronics): The candidate should have got First Division High on merit of valid GATE scores of 70% and passed in BE/ B tech and related subject

For Aeronautical Engineering (Mechanical): The candidate should have got First Division High on merit of valid GATE scores of 70% and passed in BE/B Tech in Aeronautical/Mechanical/Production/Industrial production or a combination of subjects

Selection Procedure for IAF 2011
All the candidates have to appear in the written test.
The short-listed candidates will be called for Psychological Test, Group Test and Interview at one of the Air Force Selection Boards, located at Dehradun, Mysore and Varanasi.
