Introduction
Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board (GSHSEB) has entered on a program of inservice training for its teachers in collaboration with the University of Cambridge. At the end of the program each of the participants will receive the Cambridge International Diploma for Teachers and Trainers (CIDTT). The CIDTT is a master development tool for inservice teachers and trainers who want to improve on their competencies in carrying out learning and development activities professor and productively. The Diploma enables teachers to work in contexts which are most relevent to them, while covering generic carrying into action standards. It also recognizes the range of effective teaching and learning methods, technologies and styles now available, and advocates candidates to be thoughtful and resourceful in their approach to particular learning needs.
