Govind Ballabh (GB) Pant Engineering College, which is situated in Pauri Garhwali (Uttarakhand), is a sovereign engineering college of the state Government of Uttarakhand. It was founded in 1989 with the vision of rendering top quality education in the area of engineering to the people, especially to those, who related to the Garhwal area. Govind Ballabh Pant Engineering College is associated to Uttarakhand Technical University, Dehradun. It provides courses in the various streams of engineering at the undergraduate level and postgraduate level. Govind Ballabh Pant Engineering College is disseminated throughout 169 acres of land, which consists of many progressive facilities.

Eligibility for Undergraduate courses:-
Candidates must have passed in 10+2 examination with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics /Computer Science/Biology/Biotechnology, from any recognized state/national Board.
Eligibility for Post Graduate:
Aspirants should have done BE/B.Tech in the relevant stream from any recognized University.

The wishful candidate may also apply online and sent some along with new passport size photograph stuck on the right corner of the application form and attested copies certificate and a DD in favour of the Govind Ballabh Pant Engineering College (GBPEC).
Admission Procedure:
The admission procedure will be based on AIEEE entrance test and counseling. Counseling will be conducted by the University. For M Tech / ME/ MCA admission, candidates have to take UTUEE entrance examination took by Uttarakhand Technical University.
Selection Procedure:
Selection of the candidate will be based on the personal interview and written test of the candidate. The Selection will also base on the rules and regulation of the Govind Ballabh Pant Engineering College (GBPEC).
