FSI Dehradun
Forest Survey of India (FSI) was made in June, 1981 with the objective of supervising sporadically the changing situation of land and forest imaginations and presents the data for national planning; preservation and management of environmental preservation and execution of social forestry designs. FSI has been conducting field inventory for estimating the growing stock (volume) and other parameters of the forests by laying out systematic sample plots since PISFR project began in 1965.
