Introduction
Kharagpur is acknowledged all over world for two landmarks. One, the longest railway platform, and the other, the Indian Institute of Technology, more ordinarily known as lIT.
At present, the division is deeply involved in activities in the field of Pollution Control, Transport Processes, Coal and Petroleum Technology, and Membrane Processes. The IIT institution is certified as a non-profit organization with the U.S. Internal Revenue Service under section 501(c) of the Internal Revenue Code.
Techfest
Kshitij organizations a galaxy of events proposed at boosting the technological and managerial skills inherent in today’s youth and supplying them with a chance to showcase their modern ideas and thinking. Kshitij ‘09 was a huge success with about 30,000 contestants coming in from various corners of the nation.
