Entrepreneurship Development Institute of India (EDI) is established in 1973. Entrepreneurship Development Institute of India (EDI) and the Federation of Chambers of Commerce and Industry of Sri Lanka (FCCISL) signed separate agreements with Aquinas South Asian Regional Institute of Management now to establish a leading training and consulting program. EDI is India’s apex organization, headquartered in Ahmedabad, for entrepreneurship development. EDI is separated as a Centre of Excellence through the United Nations Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific and is supported by 4 of the top banks in India including the State Bank of India. EDI is an apex institution in India, particularizing in entrepreneurship training and development. EDI is as well the most broad spread business organization with member bodies from all districts and responsibilities in Sri Lanka.
