Emergency Management and Research Institute (EMRI) would like to distinguish people and administrations that have importantly led to emergency management. Emergency Management and Research Institute (EMRI) is a non-profit-making administration was founded in April, 2005. EMRI assistances have 164 ambulances in the state which deals more than 620 cases everyday. Alleging GVK EMRI of discrepancy in audit reports, the state government has received fresh tenders from concerned parties to continue this service and has instructed EMRI that the emergency response services shall not be cut off throughout the notice period. Rajasthan medical and health minister Aimaduddin Ahmad ‘Duru Miyan’ said that the action has been taken following financial versions in audit report. By a toll-free ‘108’ telephone number, approachable from fixed and mobile phones, so far has responded to more than 2.4 million emergencies, with 1287 ambulances.
