DUPGMET 2011 Delhi University Post Graduate Medical Entrance Test
Delhi University Post Graduate Medical/Dental Entrance Test (DU PGMET) is an entrance exam for admission to the post graduate medical and dental courses MD/MS/PG Diploma and MDS in University of Delhi. DU PGMET 2011 will be taken by University of Delhi Faculty of Medical Sciences. The examination will be taken in the capital area of Delhi only. There is a reservation in all these courses for the candidates who have cleared their MBBS/BDS from Delhi University. Delhi University PG Medical Entrance Test 2011 and Master of Dental Surgery (MDS) for admission to the following courses will be in February, 2011 at Delhi. Interested candidates may apply on the prescribed form.

M.D.: Anaesthesiology, Anatomy, Biochemistry, Community Medicine, Dermatology; Venereology & Leprosy, Forensic Medicine, General Medicine, Community Health Administration, Microbiology, Paediatrics, Pathology, Pharmacology, Physiology, Psychiatry, Pulmonary Medicine, Radio-Diagnosis and RadioTherapy.
Post-Graduate MDS Courses
Prosthodontics & Crown & Bridge, Periodontology, Conservative & Endodontics and Orthodontics & Dentofacial Orthopaedics
Post-Graduate Diploma Courses
Anaesthesiology (DA), Dermatology; Venereology & Leprosy (DDVl), Obstetrics & Gynaecology (DGO), Ophthalmology (DO), Otorhinolaryngology (DLO), Paediatrics (DCH), Radiodiagnosis (DMRD), Radiation Medicine (DRM), Tuberculosis & Chest Diseases (DTCD), Health Administration (DHA) And HealthEducation (DHE)
Eligibility for MD/MS/PG Diploma:
Candidate should have MBBS for admission to MD/MS/PGD courses from a recognised institute. Those Candidate will be able to complete their internship by May End can also apply.
Eligibility for MDS:
Candidate should have BDS for admission to MDS from a recognised institute. Those who will be able to complete their internship by May End can also apply.
DUPGMET 2011 Application Form
DUPGMET 2011 Application Form along with Bulletin of Information can be got from the office of the Deputy Registrar, Faculty of Medical Sciences, University of Delhi against a crossed Bank Draft/ Banker’s Cheque drawn on any Nationalized Bank in favour of the Registrar, University of Delhi payable at Delhi.
How to apply
Candidates need to apply individually for MD (Community Health Administration), Diploma in Health Education (D.H.E.) and other Post-Graduate (Degree/ Diploma) courses. The candidate must mention his/ her name and address at the back of the Bank Draft/ Banker’s Cheque. The applicants are suggested to hold a photocopy of the Bank Draft/ Banker’s Cheque. The 02 seats of DGO course in St. Stephen’s are not accredited by MCI. The Admission Notice is also available at University Website http://www.du.ac.in.
Selection of Candidates
The Selection of the Candidate is based on Personal interview and written admission test. The Selection of the candidate is also based on the rules and regulation of the Delhi University.

Last Date for receipt of completed application forms: January 3rd week, 2011
