DUMET 2011 Delhi University Medical Dental Entrance Test
Delhi University Pre-Medical Test (DPMT) or University of Delhi Medical/Dental Entrance Test (DUMET) is an all-India entrance test will be conduct in 2011 to take students for admission to MBBS and BDS courses provided by various medical colleges that are associated to the University of Delhi. Candidates who clear the PMT/DUMET test may look for admission into the various under-graduate courses in medical science, offered by several institutes under Delhi University. The Delhi University Medical-Dental Entrance Test (DUMET) – 2011 for admission to Under-Graduate courses (MBBS/BDS) will be held in Last week of May, 2011 at Delhi only. Interested candidates can apply on the dictated application form.

Eligibility for DUMET
Candidates aim to appear DPMT/DUMET must accomplish the following criteria: Candidates must have passed the 12th class examination under 10+2 system with Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English from a recognised school.
How to apply
Wishful candidates can apply on the dictated application form. Application form along with bulletin of information can be got from the office of the Deputy Registrar, faculty of medical sciences, 6th floor, VP chest institute building, university of Delhi, Delhi, against a bank draft/banker’s cheque drawn on any nationalized bank in favour of Registrar, university of Delhi payable at Delhi.
Examination Pattern
The DPMT/DUMET test consists of 2 papers.
Paper I contains two sections of Physics and Chemistry.
Paper II contains two sections of Botany and Zoology.
Each paper is of 2½ hours duration containing multiple-choice objective type questions of maximum 600 marks.

Is it necessary to be a student of delhi school to sit for this DUMET exam? Will west bengal board student be allowed?
