The Central Library, Dr.B.R.Ambedkar National Institute of Technology was established in 1988 and advocates self discovering and supplement academics, boost research and development activities and to promote consultancy activities. With the status of a “Deemed University” living conferred on NITJ, it decides on its own curricula and pattern of evaluation. A credit based period of time system has been determined upon. The present Director of NITJ is Dr. Moin Uddin and the confront Registrar is Dr. A L Sangal. The Institute provides an excellent campus life to the students with all the involved facilities.
Dr. B R Ambedkar National Institute of Technology came into existence in 1987 as a regional engineering college. It was granted the status of a National Institute of Technology by the Government. of India (Ministry of Human Resourcefulness Growth), on 17th October, 2002. This automatically made NITJ a “Deemed University”. It has a sight of enriching India’s intensity of Technical men. Dr B R Ambedkar National Institute of Engineering Campus the NIT Jalandhar is a home to pupils from across the country as well as from abroad and is settled in the nation of Punjab.
