Diploma in aged care course has been formulated to offer higher education studies in Aged Care. The course is extended over one year full-time equal study or may be studied part time. It forms on the knowledge benefited in Certificates II and III in Community Services (Aged Care Work). It offers a combination of core units shared with other diploma courses and units specific to the management and delivery of care for older people. An Elective unit provides the option to study palliative care, nutrition or mental health.
